The Avenue Arts Academy

A BIT OF BACKGROUND

The Avenue Arts Academy (formerly JH Academy Outreach CIC) believe our community can only perform at their best if we provide them with an environment that offers the best. We have worked hard on improving our space and have achieved good rehearsal and performance spaces within our majestic building, The Avenue Arts Centre, on the bustling Lisburn Road in Belfast.  We continue to work to improve our facilities for the wider community. The images on this page are impressions of our vision for our future community Theatre spaces at The Academy Arts Centre.

SPONSORSHIP DETAILS

We are seeking corporate sponsorship to help us share The Avenue Arts Centre to the wider community by establishing the first community Hi-Tech Spec Theatre space in Belfast. We want to create a community theatre that also offers rehearsal space alongside the theatre hire under one roof. A place where the venue becomes a home during the rehearsal process and during a show run. To offer a better experience we urgently need 30 mic packs, stage lights, truss, and stage curtains.

We also wish to open our space to the broader business community. We believe our unique building has lots to offer and will tick many boxes.

Our senior summer musical project this August is Titanic directed by Wilfie Pyper MBE. Promising an immersive theatre experience, it will be the first time our students will experience being part of a project on this scale. They come from different community backgrounds and across all areas of NI, many mixing for the first time outside of their community. We currently require support for orchestra, set and costumes.

Our vision will have a lasting impact on the community.

COSTS & TIMINGS

There are many ways to support our vision and our space and we would like to invite interested businesses to get in touch to find out more and discuss further options.
